The Science Behind Zyatonix

Zyatonix is a weight loss formula which was formerly known as Zyatrim. Why they changed the name is unclear, but apparently the company thought the new name might make it sell better?
This product makes some big claims about its ability to literally kill your fat cells and rid you of those unwanted love handles, belly, etc. Here we make clear that, while you may expect some health benefits and a metabolic boost from Zyatonix, there is nothing to support their over-the-top claims.
First, it is important to note that the company doesn’t provide clear information about its product’s ingredients on the official website, which is a red flag. Either way, we tracked down the formula:
Apopadex I Proprietary Blend -280mg -
- Hoodia Gordonii
- Citrus Aurantium
- Cassia Nomame Extract
- DiHydroxy Bergamottin
- Yohimbe
- Naringen
- Commiphora Mukul
- DMAE
- Pilocarpus Jaborandi Extract
- L-5-Hydroxy Tryptophan
- 5-Methoxy Tryptamine
Caffeine – 75mg
Apopadex II Proprietary Blend – 200mg –
- Green tea extract
- Acacia rigidula extract
- Leptin
- Theobromine
- Phenylethylamine HCL
Probably the most solid scientific basis for this product effectively helping you lose weight is is found in stimulants like synephrine (from citrus aurantium) as well as the ubiquitous caffeine, which are proven to elevate resting metabolism to burn extra calories. Clearly there are a variety of other herbs here, but not all of them are worth getting excited about. Cassia nomame extract for instance does very little to reduce absorption of dietary fats.
There is some evidence to support the use of yohimbe and guggulsterones (from commiphora mukul) in maintaining lean mass. The rest of the ingredients, in the right dosage, can provide a variety of health benefits, but there is no real evidence to back up the claim that Zyatonix “kills fat cells.”
Zyatonix Side Effects
Some risk of elevated heart rate and blood pressure for those sensitive to stimulants. Also, may cause diarrhea in some users.
Zyatonix Policies
The company does mention a money-back guarantee for 60-days, but you should note that just the shipping and handling for this is $10. No matter what, they’ll make some money off of you.
Zyatonix Lowest Price
The lowest we’ve seen Zyatonix is for about $37 plus the ridiculous $10 in shipping. Given the variety of specialty ingredients it contains, we can understand a slightly higher-end price, but as of yet we don’t see enough evidence to suggest that you’ll get your money’s worth in actual pounds lost.
Does Zyatonix Work?
If you have a good caffeine/stimulant tolerance and do not have PKU (phenylketonuria), then this product will at least be safe for you to use. As we just mentioned, it isn’t clear that it is worth its price tag, but there are a variety of herbs in here that may provide you some benefit if you haven’t tried a product that is a little more complex like this one. The bottom line is that we’re skeptical that it would be worth your trouble.
