The Science Behind VPX Sports Coco-Fit+:

VPX Sports Coco-Fit+ is the VPX rehydrating drink. It is designed to replenish fluids and electrolytes, give you vitamin D, and supply your body with omega-3 fats. VPX Sports Coco-Fit+ is based off of the nutrients present in coconut water. They say it is the all natural, low calories way to rehydrate your body. They say that studies have been done to compare VPX Sports Coco-Fit+ with other rehydrating sports drinks, but they don’t say which is better at rehydrating and replenishing athletes. Here is the exact quote from their website: “Recently, the benefits of coconut water were further studied in comparison to traditional sports drinks made of carbohydrates and electrolytes, or plain water, for total body rehydration and blood volume restoration in exercise induced dehydration. Those studies demonstrated that that coconut water not only rehydrated the depleted athletes they tested, but it was also significantly sweeter and well tolerated….” What’s missing here? If you didn’t read carefully you might have missed it. They don’t say that VPX Sports Coco-Fit+ outperformed the sports drinks, they just say that it rehydrated the athletes. Read it again to see what I am talking about. The only real comparison they make is that VPX Sports Coco-Fit+ was sweeter than the sports drinks. There are lots of sports drinks out there and since VPX Sports Coco-Fit+ doesn’t give any real evidence that they’re better than the rest, it is hard to endorse their product.
Also, keep in mind that coconut water can cause constipation or diarrhea. And allergic reactions, although rare, may occur resulting in: drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, rash, hives, trouble breathing, tightness in the chest, swelling of the mouth, tongue, lips, or face, irregular heartbeat, etc.

VPX Sports Coco-Fit+ Policies:

As far as I can tell from their website, VPX Sports Coco-Fit+ doesn’t offer any money-back guarantee. This isn’t surprising given the fact that it is essentially a sports drink. People aren’t trying to lose weight or build muscle with it…at least they shouldn’t be.

VPX Sports Coco-Fit+ Lowest Price:

A 12-pack of VPX Sports Coco-Fit+ is roughly $30. Each bottle is 16 fluid ounces. The cost is the biggest reason why I don’t think VPX Sports Coco-Fit+ is really worth it. I don’t doubt that it will replenish your fluids and give you vitamins. Maybe it is just as good as Gatorade or Powerade, but those products are much cheaper and have undergone many clinical trials to prove their effectiveness. VPX Sports Coco-Fit+ costs more than most sports drinks and may not even work as well either.

Does VPX Sports Coco-Fit+ Work:

I bet it does. If you were playing basketball and sweating like a sieve and you needed to rehydrate VPX Sports Coco-Fit+ would probably do the job. But, so would Gatorade, Powerade, Vitamin Water, even pickle juice (lots of football teams use it for cramps). If you play pick-up basketball once a week on Saturday mornings I am sure any old sports drink will do the job; you don’t need to spend the extra money on VPX Sports Coco-Fit+. And if you’re a professional athlete you probably should be taking more proven and effective sports drinks.
