The Science Behind VPX No-Shotgun MHF-1:
Lots of diet pills and muscle building supplements love the letter “X,” words that sound tough (i.e. shotgun), and random numbers. For whatever reason they think it makes their product seem more hardcore/effective/scientific. VPX NO-Shotgun MHF-1 claims to be “the first muscle building supplement of its kind to use a superior synergistic blend of effective compounds combined with a cutting-edge pharmaceutical delivery system that yields mind blowing, skin bursting effects, while additionally enhancing recovery and protein synthesis.” Wow. Sign me up! They do have a university study of VPX No-Shotgun MHF-1 on their website…although they never do say what university did the study. I found after digging around that Baylor University donated research grant money to the study, but they didn’t actually conduct it themselves. The study shows that the product does indeed increase muscle mass and that doesn’t surprise me. The problem I have is that they tested their product against a placebo when I feel like it would be more convincing to compare VPX No-Shotgun MHF-1 to another muscle mass product.
For instance, VPX No-Shotgun MHF-1 contains creatine and several amino acids along with ethyl ester (helps with absorption of the protein). So comparing it to a sugar pill should definitely show a major difference in muscle mass growth. But, how about compared to all the other protein powders and supplements?
VPX No-Shotgun MHF-1 Policies:
As far as I can tell there is no money back guarantee with VPX No-Shotgun MHF-1. Their website doesn’t have any kind of returns/exchange policy (if they do it is very well hidden somewhere in fine print). If VPX No-Shotgun MHF-1 was only 20 bucks this wouldn’t be a huge deal…but, that’s not the case.
VPX No-Shotgun MHF-1 Lowest Price:
One jug of VPX No-Shotgun MHF-1 costs $69.95. That’s not chump change. This is why I am very hesitant to trust VPX No-Shotgun MHF-1. You can buy a standard protein or creatine jug for around $20-40. I doubt that VPX No-Shotgun MHF-1 is worth the extra cash you would have to pay.
Does VPX No-Shotgun MHF-1 Work:
The answer has to be yes with an asterisk. Creatine has been shown to help build muscle mass and so have protein and amino acid supplements. Keep in mind you have to work out regularly and do lots of resistance exercises. You can’t just drink this stuff and get huge without ever going to the gym. I doubt that VPX No-Shotgun MHF-1 will significantly improve muscle mass when compared to similar, yet much cheaper, supplements. For this reason I have to recommend that you try something else because VPX No-Shotgun MHF-1 is over-priced and you won’t really be getting your money’s worth.
