Hoodia gordonii has not undergone any peer-reviewed scientific studies with humans. It has been tested on rats and has shown potential to be an effective appetite suppressant. Of course, it must be administered in the proper dosage. Trimgel contains other ingredients that are meant to increase absorption of the gel through the skin, boost metabolism, and reduce cellulite. It is unclear how effective Trimgel is because they don’t tell you how much of each ingredient is present or how much of it is actually absorbed through the skin and into the bloodstream.

Fact is, hoodia gordonii is far from a proven method to weight loss. There are several appetite suppressants out there and many of them have been clinically tested and proven. On their website, Trimgel fails to show through clinical studies that their product does indeed work. For new customers, Trimgel offers a full refund for unopened products. You have 60 days to decide to return Trimgel and they charge you 15% of the retail price as a restocking fee. So basically you have to buy multiple tubes of Trimgel and try one, see if it works, if not send the other(s) back for a portion of the price. This is a pretty weak return policy. Any time you have to return products unopened it practically nullifies the money back return policy.

One tube of Trimgel costs $49.95 and it will last about a month (depending on how liberal you are with the gel). That is too expensive for a product with a poor return policy, no clinical studies proving it works, and questionable ingredients (in terms of weight loss effectiveness). You can find other diet products that will work for you for the same price, sometimes cheaper.

Does Trimgel Work:

They say you can rub the Trimgel on your “problem areas” like the tummy, thighs, and arms and it will instantly start slimming. Trimgel says that you can just keep up your same routine (work, eat, sleep) and you will start losing the pounds; then in the fine print it says Trimgel will work if it is used in conjunction with a diet and exercise plan. They contradict themselves on their own website. I highly doubt that rubbing Trimgel on your love handles or thighs is going to actually help you lose weight. Maybe it does reduce the appearance of cellulite, but if that’s why you’re buying it there are plenty of products designed specifically to reduce cellulite. Look elsewhere if you want to lose weight.
