The main product in Tonimine is phosphorus and it comes in three different forms: calcium hypophosphite, sodium hypophosphite, and potassium hypophosphite. Phosphorus is a necessary element for human development and function. It plays an important role in bone growth and strength and the same goes for our teeth. Also, it is part of the structure of DNA and we need phosphorus to help us absorb the B complex of vitamins. A severe deficiency of phosphorus can lead to muscle and neurological dysfunction. You’re probably thinking, “Well, that’s great, but what does it have to do with weight loss?” Supposedly, phosphorus can act as an appetite suppressant. I am not quite sure how it would do that, but there is no other fat burning mechanism that phosphorus brings to the table. There isn’t much information about Tonimine online and that makes me wonder about how often it’s actually used and if it’s even effective.

Even if it does help you fight off hunger you still want your diet product to increase metabolism and burn fat and Tonimine won’t do either of those. It is probably best to ask your physician about Tonimine before trying it.
