The Science Behind Thermotox:

Thermotox is designed to combat weight loss by eliminating toxins in the body and increasing metabolism. There are lots of healthy ingredients in Thermotox. These include: acai, green tea, cayenne pepper, flax seed, wheat grass, aloe vera, noni, pomegranate, ginger, and more. Do these ingredients actually eliminate toxins or increase metabolism? Green tea extract and cayenne pepper have been shown to increase metabolism at the proper dosage. Thermotox should provide you with enough green tea to boost your metabolism and the same might be true with the cayenne pepper (fewer clinical studies have been done on cayenne so the recommended dosage for increased metabolism is not as reliable as it is for green tea). The other ingredients are good sources of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, but they don’t really have any fat burning qualities.

The biggest question I have with Thermotox is how exactly do these ingredients remove toxins? What is the mechanism of action for removing these poisons from organs, tissues, and blood and excreting them out of the body? Thermotox doesn’t say how this is accomplished…they don’t even give you evidence through clinical trials that toxins are removed at all. Without seeing some clinical trials proving that Thermotox works I have a hard time believing that it works like they say.

Also, side effects from taking Thermotox may include: headaches, frequent bowel movements, diarrhea, anxiety, jitters, and elevated hear rate. Most of these come from the caffeine in the green tea.

You won’t be reimbursed for shipping and handling (you never are). This return policy seems to be pretty solid to me. They don’t mention any kind of restocking fee and as long as shipping and handling aren’t outrageous you should be in good shape.

Thermotox Lowest Price:

The retail price for Thermotox is $79.99, but on their website they are offering it for $39.99. One bottle of Thermotox should last about month. The retail price is very expensive, but if you can get it at the discounted price on their website it’s not so bad. At 40 bucks I might be willing to give it a shot, but 80 bucks makes me a little hesitant to pull the trigger, even with a good refund policy.

Does Thermotox Work:

Thermotox has plenty of healthy ingredients and it should give you a boost of energy and hopefully an increase in fat metabolism. I am very skeptical of the whole “removing toxins” business. You have probably heard of all sorts of toxin removal fads. I tried one that is supposed to draw them out through your feet by sending an electrical pulse through your body (it was free). Thermotox doesn’t prove any of their claims, be they weight loss or toxin removal. Without clinical trials it is hard to say Thermotox will work for you. If it does, great! If not, you’re out the cost of shipping and handling. There are definitely worse products out there, but there are also some better ones.
