Sensa Weight Loss Program Review

The Sensa Weight Loss Program is one of the most bizarre weight loss solutions around.  It is not a weight loss pill, but rather crystals that are sprinkled on your food. These crystals purportedly work by manipulating your sense of smell into thinking you are full quicker. Getting full faster=less calories=weight loss. Losing weight by sense of smell? Yeah, it sounds weird to me too. Let’s take a closer look at Sensa.

The Science Behind the Sensa Weight Loss Program

Endorsed by Dayna Devon?

Dayna Devon, famous for her work on Extra, endorses Sensa. Celebrity endorsements should be taken with a grain of salt considering that 95 percent of time they get paid to endorse the product. Who wouldn’t endorse a product if they get a few thousand dollars?

Will you really lose 30.5 pounds?

It seems that every where you look on the Sensa website, it refers to the clinical study where the average person lost 30.5 lbs in 6 months. Out of this world right? As good as this sounds, there are a few problems with the study that make us skeptical.

There is not enough disclosure about the study. Nothing is disclosed about the exercise patterns or diets of the users or even how much Sensa was used. It is difficult to not be cynical with such limited information.

What’s in Sensa?

  • Maltodextrin
  • Tricalcium Phosphate
  • Silica
  • Soy Ingredients
  • Milk Ingredients

What does Sensa taste like?

Sensa is tasteless. However, enjoyment of food is based not only on the taste of the food but also the texture. Why Sensa might be unbearable to some is that it will affect the texture of food. Sensa is comprised of crystals.

Is Sensa safe?

There are no side effects associated with Sensa. Those sensitive to stimulant will be happy to know there is no caffeine in Sensa (keep in mind that there are other non-stimulant weight loss solutions on the market).

Sensa Lowest Price

There are two purchase options: a 6 months supply or a 6 month auto-ship program. Like most bulk purchases there are pros and cons.

Pros

  1. The 6 month bulk order allows you to save nearly $140 off retail (keep in mind that it still is $235, STILL EXPENSIVE FOR ME)
  2. If you like Sensa, you won’t have to worry about purchasing it every month. It comes straight to the door.

Cons

  1. Sensa is one of the most expensive weight loss aids on the market.
  2. You are stuck committing to 6 months without ever trying it (a risky investment considering how expensive it is).

Everything You Need to Know About Sensa’s “Free Trial”

Be careful not to fall for the free trial. It is anything but free. Next to the “Try Sensa Free” ad there is an asterisk. Asterisks are never good especially with “free trials.”

Reading the terms and conditions for the free trial reveals the real truth. If you don’t cancel within 30 days, your credit card will be charged $89.99 and you will be stuck in their auto-ship program getting charged $89.99 every two months.

Does Sensa work?

Sensa is an above average weight loss aid, but is ridiculously expensive for what you get. There are better diet pills out there that are much cheaper.
