The dosage for NOW Foods GlucoFit is actually slightly lower than clinical studies that have been on its effect. One small scale study (10 participants) people with type 2 diabetes were treated with a banaba leaf extract standardized to only 1% corosolic acid. Patients receiving 32 or 48 mg (.32-.48 mg) daily for 2 weeks demonstrated a reduction in blood glucose levels, though the sample size made it impossible to tell whether it was statistically significant. A slightly larger scale study done in Japan demonstrated similar results. So what this all boils down to is that NOW Foods GlucoFit has the potential to reduce your blood sugar levels temporarily after use.  This can be of some help to diebetics in controlling blood sugar, but will not help anybody who is trying to lose weight. There is simply no evidence of that whatsoever.
