The diet pill called Ammo by Lift Labz boasts to result in extreme weight loss, extra energy, improve workout intensity and [redundantly] shed excess fat. Aside from this, little information is given pertaining to the purpose of Ammo.  In fact, Ammo has been discontinued, though you can still find it on clearance on some websites. Ammo is made up of 365 mg of a proprietary blend of Methyltheobromine, Methylsynephrine HCL, Phenylethylamine HCL, R-Beta-Methylphenylethylamine HCL, N-Methyl-B-Phenylethylamine, Hoodia Extract 20:1, Yohimbine HCL. Ammo also contains 200 mg of caffeine, and other ingredients include Gelatin, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Magnesium Stearate, Silica, FD&C Yellow #5, & FD&C Yellow #6. For the most proven results, this proprietary blend should make up for 400 mg of the product composition, but instead is only 365 mg.

The main ingredient in Lift Labz Ammo is caffeine. While caffeine does increase energy, it also results in a swift and heavy crash. Caffeine is also a diuretic which would result in weight loss, but not necessarily the kind you are looking for.

I was personally amazed at how many of the ingredients in Ammo come from chocolate. Especially because when your goal is to lose weight, you typically want to stay away from fatty things like chocolate. N-methyl-B-phenylethylamine, R-beta-methylphenylethylamine and Phenylethylamine all come from chocolate. They provide the “mood lifting” results that Ammo promises. However, I’m not sure why they need so many chocolaty mood enhancers. While these ingredients are said to suppress moods, there really is no use behind using so many different types, and yet still not containing enough to actually suppress appetite.

There is an alarmingly long list of side effects and warnings when taking Ammo. The maximum dosage is 2 pills a day, and you should not take Ammo if you are under 18, over 50, pregnant, nursing, have high or low blood pressure, heart or liver or kidney or thyroid disease, anemia, anxiety, nervousness, headaches, diabetes, depression, any seizure disorder, a history of strokes or cardiac arrhythmia (take a deep breath, we’re about halfway through our list). Do not take if you have an enlarged prostate, are currently using an MAO inhibitor, anti-depressant, aspirin, NSAID, dietary supplement, or any prescription drug or over-the-counter drug containing ephedrine, pseudoephedrine, phenylephrine, or any other medications or products containing stimulants or any other form of medication.

If you survived that list, here is another one for you: Side effects consist of  rapid heartbeat, irregular heartbeat, nausea, headaches, dizziness, sleeplessness, nervousness, shortness of breath, chest pain and you should discontinue use and consult a physician if you experience any of these. Users are also cautioned to consume a minimum of 120 ounces of water daily while using this product. Discontinue at least 2 weeks prior to surgery, and do not use for more than 8 weeks.

So essentially, you’ve got a long list of risks and side effects, and only eight weeks to achieve your desired results. Suddenly I have the urge to bite my thumb at this diet pill.

Again, this product has been discontinued, but can still be found for clearance on some websites for $40. This price is for 120 capsules, which (if you’re taking the maximum amount) is only 60 days worth of Ammo. Frankly, $40 is a lot for a pill that has been discontinued and has no clinical research backing it. In addition, you will not be getting your money back if it doesn’t work, and the list of side effects is frightening and not worth the risk even if Ammo did have the semblance of being a more reliable diet pill.

Does Ammo by Lift Labz Work?

I couldn’t find any evidence of it. In fact, even the official Lift Labz website only had two reviews posted for Ammo. I found no evidence anywhere else of customers who have used Ammo.  All in all, it appears to be highly dangerous, but sorely ineffective as a diet pill. Pass it up and choose a more reliable diet pill to meet your goals.
