Hyroxycut Shape: the truth

Hydroxycut is a recognizable name in weight loss products; chances are if you’ve considered buying any type of weight loss product you’ve run across the name. You don’t get to where they are by not producing products with at least marginal effects.

We do like some Hydroxycut stuff but “marginal” is probably the best word to describe how we feel about the many of their products – Hydroxycut Shape notwithstanding.

Lack of information about Hyroxycut Shape?

We find it hard to score a product highly if we can’t find much information about the product. Granted, we’re a bit early with this review and maybe they haven’t had the time to roll out all the new press to push the product. But it does stand to reason that when you release a product, you should a least be able to have enough information on hand to give consumers a good idea as to what’s in the product and why it will help them to lose weight.

The lack of information aside, here is what we do know: the product is designed specifically for women. It contains several nutrient based supplements such as foic acid and iron – which we know have a pretty good effect on women, although it wouldn’t hurt for men to get a boost as well.

The makers of Hydroxycut recommend the product be used along side a healthy diet and a good dose of exercise. We’ll take it one step further and suggest that any weight loss pill be accompanied by both a diet and exercise. That’s going to be your best way to maximize results.

But the fight against weight gain is a serious one, and it helps to have something – like a weight loss pill – that can give you that extra jolt to get you to your ideal weight. You need a powerful and effective pill and unfortunately, while we like some of the ingredients inside Hydroxycut Shape, we think it falls just a bit shy of what we consider to be a good weight loss pill.

Lack of Firepower?

Here’s why we don’t think Hyroxycut Shape will deliver great weight loss results: the ingredients.

calcium, vitamin C, folic acid, iron, Motiv 8, L-carnitine tartrate, caffeine anhydrous, yerba mate, guarana, Lady’s mantle extract, wild olive extract, ma-chin extract, wild mint extract, gamma-oryzanol, and L-ornithine HCL.

While those are decent ingredients, I really don’t see anything in there that’s going to blow away the fat. The caffeine anhydrous is nice, and is included in many weight loss pills, but it should only be considered effective in a supporting role.

The yerba mate and guarana extracts act as nice appetite suppressants and can give you a nice little boost of energy – but they’re really insufficient as a means of fantastic weight loss.

Does Hydroxycut Shape offer a satisfaction guarantee?

This is a pretty big deal to us; we like companies that can offer consumers a little protection in case their product fails to deliver like they claim it will. Without a satisfaction guarantee, it’s very had to get a good grade out of us. Hydroxycut Shape, at this point, isn’t offering such a guarantee and that drops it considerably in our book.

Final thoughts on Hydroxycut Shape

Decent product, but will have serious trouble delivering great results. If there weren’t a few other products available that do deliver, at about the same price range, we might have scored Hydroxycut Shape a little higher. But based on better competition and no satisfaction guarantee ultimately lead to it’s less then stellar rating.
