So in case you’re wondering, the thyroid extract is a bovine (cow) tissue extract. The suggested dose of this extract is actually around 60 mg, so we’re not really impressed with this. The mysterious “multi-glandular complex” which accounts for all of 70 mg is likewise unimpressive and the fact they don’t even tell us what’s in it is a bit of a red flag. The rest of the Metabolic Advantage formula is essentially a basic multivitamin.

Does Enzymatic Therapy Metabolic Advantage Work?
As a vitamin? Yes, it is nutritious and will do all a basic vitamin will do and perhaps a bit more, but this is not really the “thyroid stimulator” that its cracked up to be. The bottom line is that the dosage is just too low to significantly improve or accelerate thyroid function to the extent that the money would be worth it. Metabolic Advantage is nexpensive, but not worth much either.
