The Science Behind Livea:
The main promotional argument of Livea is that it is used by Kai Hubbard, who was Biggest Loser Season Three’s runner up. However, there is very little actual science behind Livea. Livea is an all natural diet pill (which does not necessarily mean that it is safer or healthier than alternatives) that must be taken once a day. Livea also comes with an online health and fitness plan, but when you look at the science, the ingredients, and the overall makeup of Livea, it fails to do what it promises.
Livea promises to promote weight loss and suppress appetite, and to do it without the use of stimulants. While it doesn’t use stimulants, it also seems to lack no active weight loss ingredients. The main ingredient is peptides, which, while peptides help in skin care, they are irrelevant to weight loss. Livea does not contain any stimulants, which relieves you of the side effects that come from stimulants (jitters, anxiety), however this also means that it doesn’t really increase your energy or encourage you to be more active.
Livea also promises to suppress appetite, but contains no appetite suppressing ingredients. Additionally, Livea contains no fat-blocking ingredients. Essentially, the overall make-up of Livea is too far off base to actually promote any weight loss.
Other ingredients of Livea include acai extracts, barley grass, cholera algae, chlorophyllin, alfalfa leaf, stearic acid, corn starch, dextrose, magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide. None of these ingredients are actually clinically proven to promote weight loss.
Livea claims to be free of side effects, but you should not take it if you are under 18, morbidly obese, or have diabetes.
Livea Policies:
I found no promise of any money-back guarantee. When I asked specifically about the return policies, Livea said to “check the terms and conditions of each individual offer prior to buying.” This is worrisome. Livea does have a free trial offer, however I could not find further details without actually signing up. I would rather find one that has a solid money-back return policy then chance it.
Livea’s lowest price:
One bottle of Livea costs roughly $60. Frankly, I’m not sure what about Livea drives the cost up that high. They had no money-back policy that I could find, and any positive reports of Livea are so few and far between that it really doesn’t seem worth the money or the risk.
Does Livea Work?
If your goal is weight loss, I’d look elsewhere. In fact, Livea says outright that it is not effective in people who are morbidly obese. Frankly, just because Kai Hubbard lost weight doesn’t mean he lost it from using Livea. Biggest Loser fans will realize that the main reason for the contestasts weight loss is the fact that Bob and Jillian are riding them day in and day out until they sweat off the pounds. If Livea were more effective, than they’d be promoting it all the time on the Biggest Loser (if you don’t watch it, take my work, they never mention the awesomeness of Livea). I found zero testimonials of actual Livea users, except for those on the Livea website – which makes me question viability. The science behind the ingredients and the structure of Livea indicate that it is not effective as a diet pill. Check out these diet pills instead.
