What Is Lipo Redux?

When faced with a daunting task, have you ever thought, “There must be an easier way?”  Losing weight and toning your body certainly fall into that daunting task category and the search for the easier way, one that does not involve proper nutrition and exercise, has inspired many bogus products that claim instant success.

One of them might be Lipo Redux.  Rather than a diet pill or powdered drink you ingest, Lipo Redux is a gel that is sprayed directly on the area where you want to reduce fat.  Manufactured by SAN Nutrition, a large and well-respected company, Lipo Redux is billed as a “Pharmaceutical Grade Body Sculpting and Contouring Phenomenon” that works for both men and women.

The instructions for its use are simple: “Thoroughly apply 10-12 pumps of Liporedux gel on to dry, clean skin twice daily where fat loss is desired.  Start with 10 pumps and increase depending on the desired surface such as abdominals, glutes and/or thighs.”

So all you do is spray Lipo Redux onto your fatty areas and the fat is supposed to go away with no exercise or dietary changes required.  It’s what every sedentary overweight person has always dreamed of. The problem is there is no evidence that it works.

Lipo Redux Ingredients

According to SAN Nutrition, Lipo Redux uses only clinically proven ingredients. “Liporedux’s ingredients are scientifically documented to reduce both the circumference and the thickness of the supercial fat layer of the thigh (or other area targeted),” SAN Nutrition claims.  Among the specific ingredients listed are coleus forskohlii, which has been known to support healthy lean muscle mass, raspberry keytones, which has been proven to burn fat, and Octopamine, which seems to release fat.  But all of these substances achieved their reputations when taken internally, not as part of a topical application like Lipo Redux.

Does Lipo Redux work?

At this point in time, there is no specific evidence that Lipo Redux works.  And since most if not all other topical products have failed to produce results, one has to be skeptical.  However, SAN Nutrition, which has a good reputation within the diet pill industry, claims this is a breakthrough product that is different from those which have come on the market before.  But currently there are no user testimonials supporting or knocking Lipo Redux and no clinical studies that show it works by following the directions given. Reducing body fat has always involved improving your exercise and eating habits so it is a great stretch to believe that a spray applied topically will magically allow you to lose fat while sitting in front of your TV.

Is Lipo Redux Guaranteed?

I could find no evidence of a money back guarantee on Lipo Redux for satisfaction or any other reason.  However at approximately $35 for a month’s supply Lipo Redux falls into the average category for that charged for other diet pills and powders that claim to produce weight loss. And, those who have had good experiences with SAN Nutrition might consider giving Lipo Redux a try just because they believe in the company.  However, at this point your “diet pill” money should be spent on a clinically proven product with a money back guarantee.
