An introduction to Atro-Phex
Atro-Phex is a pill designed for serious bodybuilders and marketed to monkeys. I get bothered when companies go out of their way to try to patronize potential clientele, but just reading the list of ingredients on the package shows how they try to sound more intense than they are. For example, Atro-Phex contains Cinni-Plex Isolate (Cinnamon), Petroselinum crispum (Parsley) and Tymianek Extract (Tymianek means Thyme, but in Polish). They attempt to make their product sound intense, but using intense synonyms for ingredients doesn’t make them any more potent.
Inside Atro-Phex
Atro-Phex has synephrine, 7-Keto and Green Tea, which are all quality ingredients. However, Atro-Phex doesn’t tell us how much is in it. It’s a fairly common practice for a company to keep its blend proprietary, but if the compound works and is actually worth protecting, getting a patent will solve the company’s woes. Calling a blend “proprietary” but not patenting it is just a sneaky way of not disclosing how much of a supplement is included.
BSN has recently run into some trouble with NO Explode, a different product they sell, because it was found that the product contained hardly any of the ingredients listed on the label.
It is better to be safe than sorry
Atro-Phex lists some high-quality, result-yielding supplements, but doesn’t list if they are included in the appropriate amounts. With BSN’s record of dishonesty and the overpricing of such a common supplement, it’s hard to give this pill a high recommendation.
